Record an online tabletop session

2 min readUpdated 14 July 2026

Saga20 needs one mixed MP3 or M4A file containing every speaker. You can record with a meeting platform, a Discord recorder such as Craig, or a desktop tool such as OBS.

Using Craig with Discord

Craig records each participant on a separate track. Before uploading to Saga20, download or create one mixed copy that includes every speaker, then save it as MP3 or M4A.

See the official Craig documentation for recording and download instructions.

Using OBS

Add your microphone and call audio as sources, then make a short test recording. If you are not mixing the file later, make sure every source is included in the same audio track.

See the official OBS recording guide for setup help.

Using Zoom or Google Meet

Use the platform's recording option if it is available to your account and group. Download the finished recording, then convert its audio to MP3 or M4A if needed.

Before every session, tell the group you are recording and get their agreement. Headphones also help prevent echoes and repeated voices.

Check Audio file requirements before uploading.
